In September 2023, 52-year-old Donald Cash was reported missing from his residence in Birmingham, Alabama. The Birmingham Police Department initiated a critical missing person investigation, suspecting that Cash was in danger. On November 6, 2023, investigators executed a search warrant at 1437 Brighton Road, where they discovered human remains buried in the backyard. An autopsy revealed that the victim had been shot.
