On a Tuesday afternoon in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of Antonio Devon Coleman, a 36-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On September 19, 2023, at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers from the Birmingham Police Department's West Precinct were dispatched to the 4000 block of Jefferson Avenue Southwest following a report of a person shot.
