On March 14, 2023, 40-year-old Tiffany Michele Hernandez was found deceased alongside 40-year-old Jason Joseph Brown in a residence on the 8400 block of 8th Avenue South in Birmingham, Alabama. Both victims had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The discovery occurred after a Leeds police officer detained a male suspect who confessed to killing two individuals in Birmingham. This information led Birmingham officers to the crime scene.
