In the early morning hours of June 18, 2023, a tragic car crash on U.S. Highway 280 near Hollywood Boulevard in Birmingham, Alabama, claimed the life of 19-year-old Virginia Elizabeth Davis, known to her friends and family as 'Cricket'. A promising young woman, she had just completed her first year at the University of Alabama, where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority.
