On June 18, 2023, 19-year-old Virginia Elizabeth "Cricket" Davis tragically lost her life in a car accident in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on U.S. Highway 280 near Hollywood Boulevard. Davis was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a guardrail, resulting in her death at the scene. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Gabriel Alexander Uncapher, was later charged with manslaughter in connection with the accident.
