In the summer of 1992, the life of 26-year-old Frances Aileen Pruitt was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. A white female, Pruitt was navigating a difficult period in her life; estranged from her husband and battling a cocaine addiction that had led her into prostitution. On June 17, 1992, her path crossed with Jack Harrison Trawick, a man who would later confess to her brutal murder.
