Frances Aileen Pruitt, a 26-year-old white female from Birmingham, Alabama, was brutally murdered on June 17, 1992. At the time of her death, she was estranged from her husband and struggling with cocaine addiction, which had led her into prostitution. On the day of her murder, she was picked up by a man named Jack Harrison Trawick, who later confessed to the killing.
