On March 19, 2023, at approximately 3 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Talladega Downs Apartments located at 500 Sloan Avenue in Talladega, Alabama. Upon arrival, police officers encountered a large gathering in the parking lot and discovered three men lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. The victims were immediately transported to Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega.
