In the quiet community of Forestdale, Alabama, a tragic event unfolded that cut short the life of a young man. Louis Craig IV, a 19-year-old male, was fatally shot on December 11, 2023. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 13-year-old Jonathan Cottingham, took place at an apartment in the area. A third individual who was present at the scene managed to escape without any injuries. The nature of the shooting led authorities to believe it was a targeted attack.
