Susil Rupasinghe

On the evening of Tuesday, October 11, 2022, the quiet community of Forestdale, Alabama, was disturbed by an act of violence that claimed the life of 65-year-old Sunil Rupasinghe. Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 2000 block of Forestdale Boulevard around 9 p.m. to investigate a report of a person down. Upon entering the residence, they discovered Mr. Rupasinghe, who had been shot. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
