On December 23, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., 17-year-old Jaden Alexander Lowe was fatally shot at a residence in the 700 block of Mohave Drive in Forestdale, Alabama. Responding deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office found Lowe suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite emergency medical personnel's efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
