On December 5, 2020, 58-year-old Calvin Lanard Alexander of Forestdale, Alabama, was involved in a fatal two-vehicle collision on Forestdale Boulevard near Grandview Drive. The accident occurred around 10 p.m., when Alexander's Chrysler 300 collided with a Chrysler Pacifica. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:19 p.m.
