In the quiet neighborhood of Forestdale, Alabama, the life of 57-year-old Demetrius Knight, a male, came to a sudden and violent end on September 19, 2023. On that Tuesday afternoon, at approximately 5:40 PM, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of Huitt Street following reports of a shooting.
