On June 29, 2023, 43-year-old David Lynn Frazier was fatally shot during a domestic altercation in the Brookside Public Housing Community. The incident also resulted in injuries to his brother. Authorities arrested 22-year-old Dorian Alexander Jones-Pullom in connection with the shooting, charging him with murder.
