On October 12, 2024, 22-year-old Damien O'Brien Manning was fatally shot in Huntsville, Alabama. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at a gas station located at 3310 Meridian Street. A Huntsville Police officer patrolling the area heard multiple gunshots and, upon arrival, found Manning with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
