In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 18-year-old Rayshod Goldthwaite was tragically cut short. A recent graduate of George W. Carver High School, the young Black male was known for his efforts to give back to his community. He had started an initiative with a friend to feed and clothe the homeless in a local park, an endeavor that began with just $30 and a desire to help.
