In the heart of Birmingham, Alabama, a young Black man's life was tragically cut short on the evening of February 5, 2025. Demarious Antwon Cherry, a 22-year-old male, was caught in the crossfire of a massive shootout in the Kingston community. He was an innocent bystander, simply walking to a neighborhood store when the violence erupted.
