On November 9, 2020, 52-year-old Clarence Allums Jr. was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. in the 4900 block of Messer Airport Highway. Allums was struck by a vehicle while crossing the highway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
