LaCorey Lashard McDonald, a 31-year-old man from Alabaster, Alabama, was fatally shot on January 11, 2021, in the Zion Community of Birmingham. The incident occurred in the evening, with police being notified around 8:30 p.m. that a gunshot victim had been taken to St. Vincent's East Hospital by a private vehicle.
