In the spring of 2020, a tragic event unfolded on a Jefferson County roadway that ended the life of Jack Henry Moody, a male resident of Birmingham. On the evening of Thursday, April 16th, Moody was lawfully proceeding through the intersection of Overton Road and Highway 280 on his motorcycle when he was struck by another vehicle.
