On April 16, 2020, 23-year-old Jack Henry Moody was involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision in Mountain Brook, Alabama. While riding his motorcycle westbound on Highway 280, Moody proceeded through the Overton Road intersection under a green light when an unidentified vehicle turning onto Highway 280 from Overton Road collided with him.
