Kevin Benjamin, a 19-year-old from Mobile, Alabama, was fatally shot on April 30, 2018, in an incident that deeply affected the local community. The shooting occurred in the evening when Mobile police responded to reports of gunfire in a residential neighborhood. When they arrived at the scene, they found Benjamin suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite emergency responders' best efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
