On November 14, 2018, in the Collegeville neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, 2-year-old Ke’Anthony Jelks Jr. tragically lost his life in an accidental shooting. That morning, Ke’Anthony's father had just returned home from working the night shift and had placed his legally owned firearm within the residence.
