Michael Ligon, a 31-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on March 5, 2025. Authorities responded to the incident at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of East Third Street, where they discovered Ligon with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
