Death by Force

On October 13, 2018, 17-year-old Ja’Devian De’Sean Smith was found fatally shot in the 800 block of South Holt Street in Montgomery, Alabama. Responding to reports of gunfire around 9:30 p.m., Montgomery Police and Fire Medics discovered Smith's body at the scene. Investigators believe he was initially shot at a different location and then moved to Holt Street, where he was shot again, possibly to mislead authorities.
