On September 5, 2020, 34-year-old Sharod Harrison was fatally shot outside the Crown Lounge, located at 517 19th Street Ensley in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred just before 6:00 a.m., when officers from the West Precinct responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple rounds fired at the establishment.
