On November 3, 2019, at approximately 5:03 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 700 block of 1st Street South. Upon arrival, they discovered 53-year-old Orlando Robinson lying unresponsive in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
