On February 12, 2020, 57-year-old Gerald Clifton Bell was found deceased in the 4000 block of 4th Avenue in Brighton, Alabama. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and initiated a homicide investigation. Bell, a resident of Bessemer, Alabama, was born on January 11, 1963. He was a father and had a significant presence in his community.
