Death by Force

On April 8, 2015, 23-year-old Kevin DeAndre Hatter was fatally shot in the front yard of a residence on the 1200 block of 47th Street in Brighton, Alabama. The incident occurred during a confrontation that escalated into gunfire. Hatter had previously been involved in a 2012 shooting incident where he was injured and had testified against the assailant, Frank Sealie, who was later released after Hatter recanted his testimony.
