On March 4, 2015, 25-year-old Eric D.D. Washington was fatally shot in Brighton, Alabama. The incident occurred in the early morning hours near the intersection of Main Street and 4th Avenue. Responding officers found Washington with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
