On October 27, 2019, 27-year-old Gjamal Antonio Rodriguez was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. at 102 Shawnee Lane, where officers discovered Rodriguez and a female victim inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Rodriguez was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:56 p.m. The female victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
