A veil of sorrow fell over Birmingham, Alabama, on the final day of May in 2019. On that Friday, May 31st, Justin Clyde Kemp, a 28-year-old male, was tragically killed. The vibrant life he had lived was cut short by an act of gun violence, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. The shooting, which is said to have occurred at the Uptown Apartments in the Fountain Heights area, prompted an immediate investigation by law enforcement.
