On a warm summer night in Nashville, Tennessee, 18-year-old Leif A. Brittain, a Caucasian male, was at a car wash on Swiss Avenue, diligently cleaning the mud from his truck. It was late on June 20, 2008, and the Ravenwood High School student, who was looking forward to his senior year, was tragically unaware of the danger that lurked nearby. In an act of sudden violence, he was shot and killed in what authorities believe was a robbery gone wrong. His wallet was taken during the attack.
