Vickie Webb, aged 19, was found dead on December 20, 2010, in her Nashville apartment. She had been fatally stabbed, and her body was discovered by maintenance staff who entered the apartment when her family had been unable to contact her. The suspect, Samuel Ebanks, who had been Vickie's boyfriend, fled to Canada shortly after the crime. Ebanks was later apprehended and extradited to face charges for her murder.
