Andre Broadie, a 25-year-old resident of Penn Hills, was fatally shot on February 24, 2013, inside a home located on the 5100 block of Columbo Street in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Broadie and another individual had entered the home of someone they knew when the tragedy occurred. The person inside reportedly mistook Broadie for an intruder, leading to the fatal shooting.
