Richard T. Brookins, a 29-year-old man from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically died on May 2, 2021, after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in an incident in the Polish Hill neighborhood. The shooting occurred around 2:40 a.m. in the 3000 block of Paulowna Street. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert and found Brookins with multiple gunshot wounds.
