In the early hours of September 1, 2024, the life of 23-year-old Andre D. Faucette II, a Black male from Pittsburgh, was tragically cut short in a barrage of gunfire. The incident unfolded around 4:30 a.m. in the city's East Hills neighborhood, where police were alerted to the sound of 28 rounds being fired by three separate ShotSpotter notifications in the 8000 block of Bennett Street.
