Denzel Nolan Jr., a 13-year-old African American boy, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2021, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was killed alongside his mother, Nandi Fitzgerald, and a 28-year-old woman named Tatiana Hill, in what authorities have described as a targeted shooting. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Homewood South neighborhood.
