Death by Force

On August 24, 2020, Zykier Young, a 17-month-old African American boy from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically lost his life due to a stray bullet. Zykier was sleeping in his apartment at the Three Rivers Manor housing complex in Pittsburgh's Spring Hill neighborhood when the incident occurred. The bullet, fired during a shootout between three men, traveled through the window and walls before striking Zykier in the head.
