Death by Force

On September 16, 2024, at approximately 10:48 p.m., Pittsburgh police responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire in the 100 block of Meadow Street in the city's Larimer neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered a crime scene but no victim present. Shortly thereafter, 21-year-old Gavin Tyler Yarbough was transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in a private vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
