On October 4, 2023, at approximately 3 a.m., Pittsburgh police responded to a 16-round ShotSpotter alert in the city's Hill District, specifically near the 2300 block of Webster Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims: 33-year-old Robert Lee Freeman Jr. and 16-year-old Cameron Blue-Gray.
