On September 23, 2023, at approximately 11 a.m., Pittsburgh police responded to a shooting incident in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive. Upon arrival, detectives discovered 37-year-old Allen Jerrone Stevens suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers administered immediate first aid before medics transported Stevens to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
