On September 24, 1985, Edna Pearl Higgs, a 61-year-old business owner, was tragically murdered during an armed robbery at her liquor store, Springdale Wine & Liquor, located on North Sheridan in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At around 2:30 p.m., an assailant entered her store, fatally shot her, and stole personal items before fleeing the scene. Despite investigations over the years, no arrests have been made in connection with her murder.
