In the spring of 2023, the life of 19-year-old Tahmir Hightower was tragically cut short on the streets of West Philadelphia. On the evening of Wednesday, April 19th, he was in his former neighborhood on the 4900 block of Olive Street. At approximately 10:40 p.m., the sounds of gunfire broke the night's calm.
