Death by Force

On August 24, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a double shooting occurred on the 300 block of Montrose Street in Philadelphia's Queen Village neighborhood. Nineteen-year-old Kyier Ladson, a resident of the 1900 block of Carpenter Street, was found lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his legs, torso, and head. Police officers transported him to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:09 p.m.
