In the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia, on the evening of Thursday, August 24, 2023, the life of 19-year-old Kyier Ladson was tragically cut short. The young Black male from Carpenter Street was on the 300 block of Montrose Street at about 5:30 p.m. when chaos erupted in a hail of gunfire.
