In the cold of a late December evening in Philadelphia, a burst of violence cut short the life of a young man. On Tuesday, December 22, 2015, 26-year-old Jeffrey Jarvis was found on the 3000 block of North Carlisle Street in the city's northern sector. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his legs and torso. The call came in to police at approximately 9:45 p.m., and upon their arrival, they found Jarvis unresponsive.
