On August 29, 2009, Wiletta Patrick, a 60-year-old grandmother, was tragically killed in her sleep during a drive-by shooting at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The incident took place early in the morning at her residence on East Woodrow Place. Gunmen fired approximately 40 rounds into the house, resulting in Patrick being struck by a single gunshot to the head while she was in her bed.
