Shimon Jones, aged 41, was fatally shot on October 19, 2016, at the Savanna Landing Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The incident took place during an argument at the apartment complex located in the 1100 block of East 60th Street. Jones had previously been paroled in 2014 after serving 13 years for an attempted robbery conviction. Tulsa Police began their investigation but did not immediately identify any suspects in the case.
