On a Thursday evening in Jackson, Mississippi, what began as a disagreement inside a vehicle ended in the untimely death of 37-year-old Khalil Hasan Abdurrahan. The fatal encounter occurred on June 4, 2026, when an altercation escalated, and Abdurrahan was shot and killed. The Hinds County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene of the shooting, which took place near Pinehaven Drive and Kickapoo Road.
