In the afternoon of Thursday, May 21, 2026, a sense of unease settled over the 1300 block of Perkins Street in Jackson, Mississippi. Inside a residence, the life of 46-year-old Shondell Latress White, a Black male, had been tragically cut short. Responding to a call at approximately 2:19 p.m., officers from the Jackson Police Department made the grim discovery.
