On June 21, 2023, in Jackson, Mississippi, 30-year-old Jamie Roshawn Hoard was fatally shot following an altercation in the 200 block of Woodrow Wilson near Bailey Avenue. Officers responded to the scene around midnight.
In May 2024, Jackson Police arrested 27-year-old Jimal Tarvin in connection with multiple homicides, including that of Hoard. Tarvin was charged with three counts of murder and had an additional warrant for shooting into an occupied vehicle. The victims in these cases ...Read More
