Erik McElroy, a 29-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on August 30, 2015. The incident occurred on Azalea Drive, where McElroy was fatally shot in the chest with a shotgun. The confrontation that led to his death took place around 2:21 PM at 4339 Azalea Drive. The exact motive behind the confrontation remains unclear.
