A violent incident in Jackson, Mississippi, claimed the life of 42-year-old Black male Jemar Brooks in early February 2025. On the afternoon of Saturday, February 1, 2025, around 4:30 p.m., authorities were called to a scene near the intersection of Livingston Road and Northside Drive.
