Jemar Brooks, a resident of Jackson, Mississippi, was fatally shot on February 1, 2025. The incident occurred near Livingston Road and Northside Drive, where officers responded to reports of an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Brooks suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries the following day.
